About Ngā Mātai Pūrua
NMP plays an integral part in nurturing an environment for Māori in Australia to flourish, succeed and grow as individuals, families, and communities.
We use different strategies and projects to empower our community members, these include Māori Performing Arts (Kapa Haka), Advocacy & Consulting Services, Cultural Awareness Training, Youth Work, and Intercultural Collaboration.
NMP was born from an awareness of Māori community needs and has grown into an organisation that can proudly stand as a part of the Australian Maori organisational framework.
